Dr. Thelma Bland Watson, Executive Director for Senior Connections, The Capital Area Agency on Aging, directs the day-to-day operations of the Agency.

Senior Connections is governed by a 20-member Board of Directors and receives counsel from a 16-member Advisory Council.

Population estimates for the next ten years project a large growth in the number of seniors living in our service areas.  Senior Connections'  knowledgeable staff and dedicated volunteers are committed to assisting seniors  through a comprehensive array of services and programs (SEE LINKS AT LEFT) that allow older adults to become and remain active members in their communities.

As a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Agency appreciates community support (monetary donations, contributions and services) and partnering opportunities.
