 Senior Connections, The Capital Area Agency on Aging's Information and Assistance Program receives approximately 25,000 phone calls annually from seniors and caregivers seeking assistance. Requests for assistance are also received via our website. The Agency's Intake Staff respond to these requests by providing the information and assistance sought or by referrals to appropriate community resources.

Information and Assistance help seniors locate services that best fit their individual needs and interests. These services include:

  • Home Care Providers including Nursing Care
  • Home Repair programs
  • Insurance Providers
  • Independent and Subsidized Housing
  • Legal and Financial Planning
  • Long-Term Care Facilities

Senior Connections has access to hundreds of community resources in the public and private sector.  Informational brochures on the above subjects are available upon request.
