The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) offers a new type of volunteer group. This group of volunteers will be “on-call” for special, one-time events that arise in the community. This is ideal for those who are busy and do not want to commit to a regular volunteer schedule. 

Special Events Volunteering also works for those who volunteer regularly at one place, but would like to help out once in awhile somewhere new. One great aspect of this type of volunteer work is that you can pick and choose what events are right for you.
